Welcome to Gauge One Model Railway Association East Anglia Group
We are a group of Model Railway Enthusiasts, interested in running Gauge 1 model locomotives and trains on 45mm (Gauge 1) tracks.
We have members with a wide variety of interests which include live steam and battery electric powered locomotives that may be free running or radio controlled.
Members meet twice per month at our indoor track in East Anglia, to run trains on our three running lines, and socialise together.
Apart from a common interest in Railways, people join our group from different directions, such as those wishing to move up from the smaller scale model railways, to those moving down from the scales more associated with model engineering.We have locomotives and rolling stock available, which you can try out. There is no need to purchase coaches or wagons - the club has plenty of them, which are always available to club members.
